We Have The Technology arrives online in a moment of post-technological fetishism and post-digital alienation—an immaterial institution in support of critical cultural production.

At its core is We Have The Technology’s residency program—a sustained platform for dispersed communication, research, and knowledge production online. Artist Marysia Lewandowska is invited as inaugural resident to explore the intersection of intellectual property and art.

On view from March 27–April 17 2011 was We Have The Technology’s first exhibition project: ‘Analogue Research Room for Intellectual Property & Art’ at the Center for Curatorial Studies Bard (CCS Bard) in Annandale-On-Hudson New York.

And our first public event took place on Sunday 27 March, Public Interfacial Gesture Salon, featuring artist presentations by Constant Dullaart, Duncan Malashock, Travess Smalley & Brad Troemel.

We Have The Technology's full website will launch in 2011 and include our residency center, blog, and various projects in and beyond the browser with artists, designers, theorists, programmers, curators, academics and others. An open call for future residency opportunities will be announced in 2012.
